The Ausstellungsraum Klingental considers itself to be a place and hospitality for contemporary art and the public. It gives young artists and freelance curators the opportunity to establish a professional profile, examines and mediates important positions of older generations, and offers a platform both for work by local artists and for experimental exhibition formats.

The Ausstellungsram Klingental was established in 1974 in the grounds of the Kaserne. Since then it has been run continuously by a changing coalition of artists and art experts, and is supported by the Verein Ausstellungsraum Klingental and its members.
